No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to ensure perfect focus. Candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day, but they can yield unflattering facial expressions. We'll capture a few extras of these moments to ensure the ideal expression. With our expertise, we eliminate perceived duplicates and only deliver the best ones.

We have shot at hundreds of venues, so there is a good chance that we have. However, if we have not, we will get to the venue early on the day of and be sure to perform a thorough walk-through to scout out the best photography locations. We also do extensive online research prior to your big day!

While Alex Knight Studio is based out of New York City, we serve clients all around the world. Our destination wedding photography packages include the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations.

We typically do not provide partial day coverage on weekends. On weekends, we only accept clients that require at least 6 hours of coverage or have a budget of $4,950.00 and above.

Of course you may! We pride ourselves on the consistency of our work. We understand all photographers post their best shots from each wedding on their websites so it’s hard to determine how well he or she will perform on the wedding day. That is why we encourage all of our potential clients to view full events from all photographers they meet with to see how well the photographer performs throughout the day.

We have shot in the darkest of dark synagogues, temples, churches, and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, we will set up additional lighting to ensure we get focused pictures. Some temples do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, we shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures (check out our Toolkit here).

Your highlight film and creative documentary videos will be ready to view and download 1-2 months following your wedding date (provided that you submit both pre/post wedding questionnaire forms).

Each of our packages comes with a full resolution video download. However, we typically do not provide RAW (unprocessed) files from our shoots because we believe in delivering a finished product. In fact, we’re often shooting with the end (post-produced) product in mind. However, you may request to have your RAW video files for an additional fee. Releasing the RAW files is left up to the discretion of the company.

Our Silver Screen and Full Feature packages include customized DVD(s). Also, each video is delivered digitally via VIMEO and hosted indefinitely. That way, you do not have to pay taxes on the services.

Yes and no. Picking the right score/soundtrack for your creative film plays a huge role in the creative process when putting your wedding film together. To make the best possible wedding film, a lot of time and effort is put in just to research what types of scores and sounds will best match the mood and emotion of your wedding day. Also, Alex Knight Studio is unable to use music for which we are unable to obtain a license agreement. However, we can provide you with specific websites that grant licensing rights. There, you may choose music for the creative documentary videos. Please note that the music selection must be done before the edit begins. Otherwise, additional editing fees will be incurred.

We use many cameras ranging from Canon 5D Mark III’s to Canon C100s and Sony A7s; along with a variety of professional grade lenses to shoot your wedding. We use stabilization gear such as tripods, monopods, sliders, glide cams, gimbals, and potentially drones for high production value. For audio and sound, we use professional grade lavalier microphones and audio recording units which allow us to get professional quality audio for all wedding vows and speeches given throughout your wedding day.
