Some weddings feel like one long exhale of joy. Rebecca and Phil married at The Lannin in East Meadow, New York on a warm day in early June, with over 300 guests and a day that moved the way the best ones do — through every tradition with intention, and then straight onto the dance floor.

White, cream, and green set the palette — white roses and calla lilies everywhere, bridesmaids in soft yellow. A chuppah wrapped in greenery stood in the open air with a tallit stretched overhead, and by the time the band started, nobody was sitting down. Here's how it unfolded. (Planning a wedding here? Getting Ready

Rebecca's morning started softly — a lace robe, her gown hanging against hand-painted wallpaper, and her girls close by. The kind of unhurried hour that makes everything after it feel earned.

The Details

Everything on paper and in petals stayed true to one palette: white on white on green. The program said it simply — the wedding of Rebecca & Phil.

The First Look & Portraits

They saw each other for the first time outside, with the whole afternoon still ahead of them — a tree-lined lawn, her bouquet of white blooms, and time enough to just walk together before anyone needed them anywhere. Then the bridal party joined: seven on each side, the girls in soft yellow with white parasols against the June sun.

The Bedeken & Tisch

Then the room filled up. Song, hands on shoulders, phones in the air — and Phil lowering the veil over Rebecca with both families pressed close, her bridesmaids holding calla lilies like candles.

The Ceremony

The chuppah stood outside, wrapped in greenery and white roses, a tallit stretched into a canopy above them. Under it, wrapped together in the same tallit, they became husband and wife in front of everyone they love.

The Party

They came into the ballroom through an archway of white feather boas and never really left the dance floor. The hora went around and around under the chandeliers, and the party carried on late into the night.
