Rosalie told us before the wedding exactly what she loved: detail shots, the little in-between moments, the badeken, and “simple portraits that feel timeless” — especially with her veil. Black and white. Movement. It read like a brief for the way we already see a wedding day, and on June 28th at Edgewood Country Club in River Vale, New Jersey, she and Josh gave us twelve hours of material.

Three hundred and twenty guests. A thirty-person bridal party. A palette of white and green with a wash of blush. And a greenery chuppah standing alone on the Edgewood lawn like it had grown there.

Getting Ready at Edgewood Country Club

The morning began quietly — Rosalie in white beside her Anna Augusta gown, all lace sleeves and sculpted skirt, hanging in the window light. The details she asked us to love got their portraits: the invitation suite in her veil, wedding rings balanced on a single white tulip, Josh’s tux and shoes lined up like a still life. Down the hall, Josh read her letter in black and white.

A First Look on the Golf Course

Edgewood’s golf course is the kind of backdrop you could shoot for a week — rolling fairways, a lake that catches the sky, and in late June, green in every direction. The first look happened out there, and then we just kept walking: the cathedral veil catching wind, a twirl by the water, and the quiet under-the-veil portraits Rosalie asked for. Some of our favorite frames of the year are in this set.

A Thirty-Person Bridal Party

Ten bridesmaids, twenty groomsmen. The girls gathered at the blush lounge that Papaya built — a wall of draped fabric and cascading pink roses — while the guys took the front steps of the club like a album cover.

The Tisch & Badeken

Rosalie said the badeken photos were among her favorites at any wedding, so we gave it everything: the tisch roaring down the hall, the moment the singing crowd swept Josh toward her, and the hush right before the veil came down.

A Chuppah of White and Green

The ceremony was held outdoors on the lawn at Edgewood Country Club, beneath a chuppah of greenery and white blooms — a square arch of boxwood and roses at the end of a long white aisle. Ring, ketubah, vows, and then Rosalie’s arms straight up in the air as the glass broke and 320 people lost their minds.

The Reception at Edgewood

Inside, the ballroom glowed — crystal candelabras, white florals, candlelight everywhere. The A Team Orchestra with Yaakov Rosenbloom kept the floor full from the first note, and the night ended the way Rosalie wanted it remembered: in motion, and in black and white.
