Ellie and Harrison married at Hudson House in Jersey City on December 13, 2025, with 227 guests, a first look on the rooftop with the whole Manhattan skyline across the Hudson, and a ceremony under a chuppah of pink and white flowers. Their colors were deep wine and merlot with soft pink, black and white, and the whole day carried that warm winter feeling.

Getting Ready

The morning started at the Canopy by Hilton in the Jersey City Arts District. Ellie got ready with her mom and her bridesmaids in a corner suite full of window light, with her invitation suite, pearls and bridal heels laid out in the same burgundy as the rest of the day. Harrison and his groomsmen got ready down the hall.

A First Look Above the Hudson

Hudson House sits at the very end of Port Liberté, right on the water, and its terrace looks straight across the river at lower Manhattan. Harrison and his groomsmen went up first. Then, just after 3:30, Ellie walked out to meet him for their first look, with One World Trade Center behind them and the light going soft and grey the way it does in December.

Portraits

Inside, the venue gave us a little of everything: a green velvet curtain, a clean white wall, and a long wooden staircase that showed off every inch of Ellie’s Amsale gown and cathedral veil. We went back out to the railing for a few more with the skyline before the family photos.

The Ketubah and the Ceremony

The ketubah signing came first, with both families gathered close. At 6:30, Ellie and Harrison were married under a chuppah covered in pink and white roses by Blue Jasmine, and the ceremony ended the way it should, with the glass and a kiss.

The Reception

The ballroom has floor-to-ceiling windows, so once it got dark the whole city lit up behind the tables. Paradigm had everyone on the floor from the grand entrance on: the hora with both of them up in chairs, the challah blessing, a first dance under the lights, and a dance floor that stayed full until the very end.
