HOW IT ALL BEGAN
Sylvie and Sam’s love story began with a series of serendipitous encounters and shared connections. Their paths first crossed at a party years earlier, leading to nothing more than a casual Instagram follow. The true magic unfolded later, when Sylvie was living in downtown NYC during her junior year of college. At a Friday night dinner, she met Sam’s sister, who mentioned that Sam was moving to the city and was single. Coincidentally, Sylvie’s best friend was also friends with Sam’s sister. That night, Sylvie asked her roommate to set them up, and they went on their first date the day after Sam arrived in NYC. The rest, as they say, is history, leading them to a beautiful journey from the bustling streets of NYC to the serene shores of the Long Island Sound, where their love story continued to unfold with effortless grace.

Sam's suit search was more of an adventure. He began shopping the day after they got engaged, a full eight months before the wedding as per her future wife's request. Yet, he didn’t choose anything until three months before the big day, when he ordered several tuxedos from Nordstrom Rack. After finding one he liked, he had it tailored. However, his workout routine led to an unexpected twist—he grew too muscular for the tuxedo. He then stopped working out for the last month and a half, ensuring the tuxedo fit perfectly by the wedding day.
Together, Sylvie and Sam looked resplendent—Sylvie in her timeless Pronovias gown and Sam in his well-fitted tuxedo. They embodied grace and style, ready to embark on their journey as husband and wife.
