Clarissa and Adam first met in high school, with Clarissa as a freshman and Adam as a sophomore at rival schools. Their paths diverged for a few years before fate brought them back together. They reconnected, and sparks flew, leading to their official relationship in the summer of 2014. It's safe to say that they were enchanted to meet each other again. This set the stage for their unforgettable wedding day, filled with love, laughter, and timeless memories.

Their wedding took place at the stunning Edgewood Country Club, chosen for its beautiful outdoor grounds and newly built ceremony area. Despite unexpected rain, the venue’s exceptional staff ensured everything went smoothly. Chef Tony's culinary expertise made the food a standout, with everything from cocktail hour to dessert cooked to perfection.
Event coordinator Eric Handler worked closely with Clarissa throughout the planning process, handling all logistics on the day and allowing her to enjoy the celebration stress-free. She also praised her bridal attendant, Joy, who attended to every detail with impeccable care.
The indoor setup, elegantly transformed to accommodate the weather, turned out beautifully. The intimate and stunning atmosphere highlighted the venue's flexibility and the couple's exquisite taste. We loved capturing the charm of the day, which remained unforgettable despite the rain.
The Dress & The Suit
Clarissa's stunning Martina Liana gown was discovered at the iconic Kleinfeld, a perfect choice for her elegant and timeless style. The gown's intricate lace details beautifully complemented her Loeffler Randall Natalia Platform Bow Heel in Pearl, adding a touch of sophistication to her bridal look. She accessorized with a classic diamond tennis bracelet, serving as her "something old," and borrowed her maid of honor's exquisite Tiffany & Co. pearl and diamond earrings, adding sentimental value and sparkle.
Adam, not to be outdone, wore a custom tuxedo from Zohreh Uomo. His ensemble was completed with a black bowtie and a classic Rolex watch, adding a refined touch to his look. To personalize his attire further, he had the inside of his suit jacket embroidered with his name, a unique detail that made his outfit special. Adam finished his look with stylish Christian Louboutin shoes, ensuring he looked just as polished and elegant as his bride. The couple’s attention to detail in their attire reflected their personalities and set the tone for their sophisticated celebration.

Lauralwood Florists, led by Laurie, transformed Clarissa’s floral vision into stunning reality with breathtaking arrangements, including a grand entrance staircase that left guests in awe. Laurie’s patience and creativity ensured the flowers were both classic and refreshingly original.
Cynthia from CxB Design crafted all the event signage, from welcome signs to escort cards and custom menus with wax seals. Each piece was thoughtfully designed, reflecting Clarissa and Adam's style and adding a personal touch to the décor.
The invitations by You’re So Invited featured unique charcoal ink, gold details, and a custom script font. The 2-ply invites with charcoal-painted edges blended classic and modern elements, setting the tone for the couple's sophisticated celebration.

The evening kicked off with an energetic dance floor where guests grooved to an array of throwback hits, from the iconic beats of the Spice Girls and Britney Spears to the infectious rhythm of Beyoncé’s “Crazy in Love” and The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside.” One of the evening’s most cherished moments was seeing Clarissa’s grandmother, despite being in a wheelchair, fully immersed in the fun and dancing with boundless energy.

The vintage-inspired wedding cake, masterfully created by La Promenade, was a visual delight and a delicious treat. Chef Tony’s culinary expertise was evident throughout the reception, starting with the sushi station during cocktail hour. At the reception they enjoyed a delectable summer salad with a goat cheese fritter, and culminating in entree options of filet mignon or Chilean sea bass, which were a huge hit among the guests.

Dancing with family members, especially their mothers and Clarissa’s grandparents, created lasting memories and showcased the love and connection shared among everyone present.
