Couples ask us this at almost every consultation, and venue websites rarely answer it. We photograph weddings at these venues, so we gathered the real numbers: written quotes couples received for 2025 to 2028 dates and the venues’ own price sheets. Below is what each one charges per guest, what gets added on top, the minimum guest count, and a rough all-in figure for a Saturday.
Saturday pricing unless noted. “Rough all-in” is a Saturday at the venue’s minimum with fees, tax and the ceremony fee where known; your menu, bar and date will move it.

The same room can cost $45,000 or $135,000 depending on the slot. Florentine Gardens prices a Saturday matinee, evening and full day separately; Glen Island drops from $215 to about $130 per guest for a winter Saturday.
Some quote per guest, some set a food and beverage minimum (The Rockleigh, Pier Sixty), and some charge a flat fee for the room (Gotham Hall). Addison Park and Bear Brook Valley skip the usual 20%+ service charge, which changes the math a lot.
At venues like Glen Island, kosher weddings book a resident glatt kosher caterer directly and the venue adds a facility fee per guest. Raw spaces quote the room, bar and rentals, with catering priced separately, so compare totals, not per-guest numbers.
For the Manhattan and Brooklyn venues we photograph, Saturday food and beverage runs from about $275 to $600 per guest before fees. Once the 20 to 24.5% administrative fee and 8.875% New York City sales tax are added, a Saturday at a well-known venue usually lands between about $70,000 and $135,000 for 120 to 180 guests. Landmark rooms like Gotham Hall and The Pierre sit at the top of that range.
Most of the New Jersey estates and country clubs we work at charge about $235 to $375 per guest on a Saturday, with a 21 to 24% service or admin fee and 6.625% sales tax on top. With typical minimums of 150 to 225 guests, a Saturday usually comes to about $50,000 to $110,000 all-in. Florentine Gardens, which books one wedding a day on the whole estate, is the outlier at $135,000 and up for a full-day Saturday.
It means two things are added on top of the price you see: a service charge or administrative fee (usually 20 to 24.5% in this market) and sales tax (6.625% in New Jersey, 8.375 to 8.875% in New York). Together they add roughly 30 to 35% to the per-guest number. Many venues also add a separate gratuity for the maitre d' and staff, so ask whether one is included.
Yes, usually by 10 to 25%. At Edgewood Country Club a Friday or Sunday is $205 per adult against $235 on a Saturday; at Glen Island a Friday evening is about $170 per guest against $215 on a Saturday; at The Rockleigh the in-season Friday or Sunday minimum is about $9,000 lower than a Saturday. Winter dates (January to March) and daytime weddings are cheaper again, and minimum guest counts drop too.
